BIBF announces new charity partnership

At the 13th Annual British Indian Business Forum (BIBF) Dinner, held on 28th February 2025, the BIBF proudly announced its charity partnership with Base 51 for 2025/26

About Base 51

Base 51 is a Nottingham-based charity dedicated to supporting young people aged 11 to 25 across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Established in 1993, the organisation offers a range of services designed to assist young individuals in building life skills, fostering healthy relationships, and developing resilience as they transition into adulthood.

Services Offered by Base 51

  • Counselling: Provides a safe, welcoming, and confidential space for teenagers and young people to discuss their concerns on a one-to-one basis.
  • Youth Club: Offers activity sessions, workshops, and more, open to all young people to participate and engage.
  • OutBurst: A safe space for LGBTQIA+ individuals aged 11-15 and 16-21, offering one-to-one support, advice, and signposting.
  • Training Academy: Provides JNC-recognised training in Youth Work, ranging from Level 2 Award to Level 3 Diploma, along with various CPD courses throughout the year.
  • Evolution Plus: Offers free, dedicated counselling for survivors of serious violence aged 10-25 years old, and specialist trauma services for those affected by exploitation, modern slavery, and human trafficking.
  • Safe Space: A specialist trauma service for those affected by exploitation (criminal and sexual), modern slavery, and human trafficking.
  • Social Prescribing: Located in GP surgeries throughout the city and county, providing signposting to mental health services, including counselling.
